SKAI Intelligence Signs Agreement with ABB Robotics, Forms Strategic Physical AI Alliance

SKAI Intelligence and ABB Robotics Forge Strategic Alliance to Accelerate Physical AI Adoption in Industrial Manufacturing
- Strategic collaboration to accelerate the deployment and expansion of Physical AI across industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Joint proof-of-concept initiatives planned to validate Physical AI technologies in real-world industrial environments
SKAI Intelligence, a digital twin and synthetic data infrastructure company, has signed a Strategic Collaboration Framework Agreement with ABB Robotics, a global leader in industrial robotics and automation, to jointly advance the adoption of Physical AI in industrial and manufacturing environments.
SKAI Intelligence develops digital twin technologies that accurately replicate real-world environments in virtual spaces, as well as synthetic data infrastructure used to train next-generation AI systems. ABB Robotics is one of the world's leading providers of industrial robots and automation solutions widely deployed across manufacturing and logistics operations worldwide.
The strategic collaboration framework combines ABB’s RobotStudio platform with SKAI Intelligence’s ultra-precise synthetic data generation pipeline to support the validation, deployment, and broader adoption of Physical AI technologies within industrial manufacturing environments.
The agreement is regarded as a notable example of a Korean digital twin and synthetic data company establishing an official strategic partnership with a global industry leader, demonstrating the technological competitiveness and global scalability of Korea’s synthetic data ecosystem.
Through this collaboration, SKAI Intelligence and ABB Robotics plan to jointly develop and validate Physical AI infrastructure built on advanced synthetic data technologies.
The two companies will pursue long-term validation initiatives by applying Physical AI models trained with synthetic data to ABB robotic arm workstation environments, evaluating performance accuracy and industrial applicability in real-world manufacturing settings.
Beyond Physical AI research and development, training, testing, validation, and proof-of-concept activities, the collaboration will also encompass technology exchange, simulation scenario development, and assessment of synthetic data generation workflows.
Building upon these efforts, both companies intend to gradually expand the scope of cooperation into product integration, customer projects, and joint market development initiatives, ultimately accelerating the deployment of Physical AI infrastructure across industrial manufacturing processes.
Morgan Mao, Global CEO of SKAI Intelligence, stated, “This strategic collaboration framework agreement with ABB marks an important milestone demonstrating that Korean synthetic data technology is being recognized as critical data infrastructure for global industrial manufacturing. It also represents one of the first formalized Physical AI collaboration frameworks between a Korean company and a global industrial robotics leader. Through this partnership, we aim to evolve into a global partner helping drive the Physical AI era with our advanced synthetic data infrastructure.”
As an official NVIDIA ISV partner, SKAI Intelligence leverages advanced NVIDIA Omniverse-based digital twin technologies to go beyond conventional 3D data modeling. Its platform accurately recreates industrial environments, object interactions, robotic movements, and physics-based simulations, providing next-generation Physical AI data infrastructure that can be directly applied to real-world industrial operations.
