SKAI Intelligence, a digital twin and industrial synthetic data company, has secured consecutive investments from DS Investment Partners and other domestic investment institutions and investors, earning a valuation of approximately KRW 100 billion.

As the era of Physical AI accelerates, industrial synthetic data is emerging as a critical component of AI infrastructure. Large-scale, high-quality training data is essential for robots and autonomous systems to perceive physical environments, make decisions, and execute actions autonomously.

Industry experts increasingly believe that the competitive edge of Physical AI will depend more on data than AI models themselves, driving the value of companies capable of generating and validating such data infrastructure.

SKAI Intelligence provides an integrated technology platform covering the entire workflow—from digital twin development and synthetic data generation to AI training and validation environments. Its core strength lies in producing large-scale simulation-ready data within NVIDIA Omniverse-based digital twin environments, enabling immediate deployment for AI development.

The company continues to expand its global partnerships with organizations including NVIDIA, ABB Robotics, and luxury group LVMH. Recently, SKAI Intelligence signed a strategic framework agreement with ABB Robotics to collaborate across Physical AI research and development, AI training, testing, validation, and proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives.

SKAI Intelligence is also strengthening its collaboration with the AI Institute at Seoul National University (AIIS) to improve robot perception accuracy and advance Sim-to-Real technologies.

The global investment market increasingly recognizes synthetic data and digital twin technologies as core AI infrastructure. Hong Kong-listed spatial intelligence and digital twin company Manycore Tech has reached a market capitalization of approximately KRW 4.6 trillion, while U.S.-based AI simulation company Applied Intuition was recently valued at approximately US$15 billion (KRW 20 trillion).

SKAI Intelligence plans to further expand its synthetic data business across manufacturing, robotics, and retail industries.

A company spokesperson said:

"As Physical AI enters the mainstream, synthetic data has become one of the industry's most critical bottlenecks. Our proprietary technologies have been recognized by multiple investment institutions, resulting in a corporate valuation exceeding KRW 100 billion and validating our long-term growth potential. We will continue expanding strategic partnerships with global technology leaders and establish ourselves as a leading AI data infrastructure company in the industrial synthetic data market."
