Backed by the NVIDIA Ecosystem, SKAI Intelligence Strengthens Position as a Synthetic Data Leader Through ABB Partnership

As the AI industry moves beyond Generative AI into the era of Physical AI—where robots and autonomous systems can perceive, understand, and act in real-world environments—industrial synthetic data is emerging as one of the most critical resources for the next generation of AI.
Large-scale, high-quality training data is essential for deploying robots in real industrial settings. However, collecting real-world data is costly, time-consuming, and often constrained by safety concerns, making synthetic data generated in virtual environments an increasingly attractive alternative.
Global investors have responded accordingly.
U.S.-based autonomous driving and AI simulation company Applied Intuition achieved a US$15 billion (approximately KRW 2.1 trillion) valuation in its Series F financing last year, led jointly by BlackRock and Kleiner Perkins, reflecting strong confidence in its synthetic data and virtual validation technologies.
In Korea, SKAI Intelligence is rapidly strengthening its position in this emerging market.
Founded in November 2023, the company is an official NVIDIA Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner. It has developed an integrated technology platform capable of generating and validating industrial-grade synthetic data within NVIDIA Omniverse-based digital twin environments for real-world industrial AI applications.
SKAI Intelligence is currently the only Korean company among the 13 global partners listed on NVIDIA's official Retail Solutions website. The company is also an affiliated company of SKAI Worldwide, a KOSDAQ-listed technology company.
Its collaboration with global industry leaders continues to expand.
Together with luxury group LVMH, SKAI Intelligence jointly presented a digital twin collaboration case study during an official session at NVIDIA GTC 2026.
The company has also signed a Strategic Collaboration Framework Agreement with ABB Robotics. Under the partnership, ABB's RobotStudio simulation platform will be integrated with SKAI Intelligence's synthetic data generation pipeline to jointly accelerate Physical AI deployment across real manufacturing environments.
ABB Robotics is likewise collaborating with NVIDIA to integrate Omniverse into RobotStudio, creating opportunities for deeper technological synergy between the two companies through the NVIDIA ecosystem.
SKAI Intelligence is also focused on solving the Sim-to-Real challenge—ensuring AI trained in simulation performs reliably in real-world environments. Through joint research with the AI Institute at Seoul National University (AIIS), the company is advancing robot perception accuracy and next-generation simulation technologies.
A company spokesperson said:
"Our proprietary technologies have established SKAI Intelligence as a leader in synthetic data, one of the most critical bottlenecks in the Physical AI era. Having demonstrated both our growth potential and a corporate valuation exceeding KRW 100 billion, we will continue expanding strategic collaborations worldwide and evolve into a leading AI data infrastructure company for the global Physical AI industry."
