SKAI Intelligence Formalizes Strategic Partnership with ABB Robotics at WAIC

SKAI Intelligence, a digital twin and synthetic data infrastructure company, announced on July 22 that it participated in the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai, China, where it held a signing ceremony at the ABB Robotics booth to officially formalize its strategic collaboration with ABB Robotics.

Earlier that day, ABB Robotics hosted the launch ceremony for the white paper Industrial Physical AI in High-Precision Manufacturing. Representatives from ABB Robotics, NVIDIA, Deloitte, AsiaInfo, and SKAI Intelligence attended the event.

During the ceremony, executives from the five key participating organizations took the stage together to commemorate the publication of the white paper. A Chinese-language edition of the white paper was also introduced for China's manufacturing, industrial automation, and AI ecosystem stakeholders.

The white paper was jointly published by ABB Robotics and NVIDIA. SKAI Intelligence was recognized as one of the Main Contributors, alongside Deloitte and AsiaInfo.

The publication outlines a roadmap for realizing Physical AI in high-precision manufacturing. It explains that the manufacturing industry is evolving beyond traditional fixed automation toward a new paradigm that integrates robot vision-based Physical AI with digital engineering.

The white paper further defines industrial Physical AI not as a standalone AI model or robotic technology, but as an integrated engineering framework that combines robotic systems, AI computing, simulation, digital twins, synthetic data, data governance, robot vision, and real-world operational feedback.

Following the launch ceremony, SKAI Intelligence and ABB Robotics held a strategic collaboration signing ceremony. Immediately after signing, executives from both companies shook hands, publicly formalizing their collaboration based on the strategic cooperation framework that had previously been established.

The collaboration focuses on integrating SKAI Intelligence's high-precision synthetic data generation pipeline with ABB RobotStudio to support the validation and deployment of Physical AI technologies in industrial manufacturing environments.

Key areas of collaboration include developing industrial robot simulation scenarios, evaluating synthetic data generation workflows, training and validating robot vision AI models, improving deployment readiness for real manufacturing environments, and promoting technical exchanges.

SKAI Intelligence will contribute its expertise in industrial digital twins, task-level synthetic data generation, automated annotation, and the Real2Sim2Real engineering loop.

Through these capabilities, the company enables manufacturers to incorporate rare events, edge cases, and failure scenarios—often difficult to capture in real production environments—during the digital engineering stage. This allows robot vision AI systems to undergo more comprehensive training, validation, and deployment readiness before being deployed in actual manufacturing facilities.
